These life-size cardboard gas tanks had bright rcd plastic inserts sticking through slots cut in the name “Whizzer.” The idea was to place a light bulb in back to create the effect of a neon light. lf you have a set of Bob Baker’s newsletters, look closely at the storefront display photo in issue 23 and you’ll see several of them in the window.
